The whole idea for Sunday was to start cycling season (for me, not for Ed, as he hardly finishes his ones, so there is nothing to start). However temperature dropped down to only +5°C and there was change of plans.
We've started with pickled herring sandwiches at Marylebone's Nordic Bakery
and continued through grey and wet to Marble Arch and Park Lane.
Some areas in London attract more attention (and tourists) then others, or, perhaps, different kind of attention, and the local authorities want to let some fresh air. Very colourful and jolly idea was to allow Mauro Perucchetti to erect his Jelly Baby Family sculptures by Marble Arch. It's hard to say whether it was the weather, the place (nearby Oxford Street and especially Primark occupies thoughts of crowds) or the fact that sculptures were behind constantly occupied bus pound they were not of so much interest to anyone.
Down the Park Lane - Lorenzo Quinn'sVroom Vroom installation. It's size and space suit so well you can nearly imagine how midgets felt when Gulliver was wondering around in their world.
