Birds eye view of the course:

It all started in the morning, as a warm-up I had a nice ride to Waterloo Train Station. The sun was shining and I knew it's going to be a nice day. Bought a ticket to Windsor and 53mins later got of the train.

Right through the village, waved to the queen and off towards the famous Royal Ascot Racecourse. In about an hour I've reached Virginia Waters, passed  M25 and was heading towards Hampton Court. Between Hampton Court and Richmond I continued on a walking path not too  suitable for my bike's tyres, but all ended up just fine. Once over Richmond bridge I finally felt in London again: loads of traffic and mad pedestrians around. Wohoo!!! Richmond Park (probably the best place to do cycling), Hammersmith, Kensington, through Hyde Park, Green Park and... that's where the problems started. I jumped straight into the crouds of  public sector employees not too happy about their pensions :) Some roads were closed, but I already was on my usual route so turning slightly left or right had not made much difference. I could possibly cycle home with my eyes closed... if the roads were empty :)))  but would this ever happen!?
